Foodie Review: Asian Remixed

Located in the neighborhood of Park Slope (7th Ave, between St Johns Pl and Lincoln Pl), Asian Remixed is a delightful restaurant of Thai done right. It is a breath of fresh air from your typical Thai "curries, noodle, soup" menu. It actually provides some diversity and a zest of elaboration to your Americanized Thai dishes. Although it was our first time trying out this restaurant, the Boyfriend and I were quite satisfied with their lunch menu. For $8.99, you can have a 3course lunch which will delight your taste buds, and fill your belly. Additionally, Asian Remixed has a variety of drinks which will nice accompany your food for about $6 the drink.

THE BOYFRIEND:

-Corn Patties: little, flaky with a sweet after(corn)taste.
-Shrimp Lemongrass Thom Yum: Thom Yum with the right balance of flavors
-Chili Basil  Shrimp: lacked a bit of seasoning, despite the nice portion of shrimp and veggies

ME:

-Pork and Shrimp Shumai: big and flavorful
-Chicken Coconut Thom Kha Gai: delectable
-Shrimp Pad Thai: lacked a bit of flavor, but overall good
